Buffy Season 5 & Angel Season 2 Final Counts

Well.. here you have it! It came out 94 - 78 in Buffy's favour but really, who didn't see that coming? Still not the highest for a season though. Wonder how Season 6 and Season 3 will fare. :)

Buffy & Angel updated

We're entering the home stretch now.. episode 17 of each show has been posted and just a few more remain.


This is where Buffy and Angel stand when compared for the current seasons.



Angel has closed the gap a lot recently, now only 8 behind Buffy. I'd put my money on Buffy right now but you never know how Mark will react to what's to come.

Blog Changes

I added an image to the top right to track the current totals for each season of Angel and Buffy that Mark is reviewing. It should serve as a nice at a glance reference for anyone who wants to see where everything is rather than going to the full pages.

Did this because I'm not putting posts up for every single episode review. It also necessitated a slight widening of the entire blog so hopefully no one has super small screens any more. :)

Buffy & Angel Updated

We're 9 episodes into both Buffy Season 5 and Angel Season 2. Mark has maintained a relatively steady stream of cursing throughout.


Buffy leads 24 to 16 however. Who's going to finish on top?

So we are two episodes into each new season now so it is time to start showing some numbers.
I see a steady increase happening.. let's hope it continues. :)

Hehehe.. good review.. most of the cursing came in for the last minute of the episode.. which is always a good thing.

Final chart! Is it just me or does it seem to have been a harsher roller coaster ride compared to Buffy season 4?

So Buffy's season 4 is done. Looking ahead to season 5... I expect a significant increase in the cursing. hehehe

Yes! This caused Mark to throw out some curses.. hehe.. charts updated.

Primeval & Other Stuff

Charts got updated. Yay!! Nothing too spectacular except based on current counts he seems to have had quite the reaction to Episode 21.

Design changes and stuff

I apologize if things get a bit wonky since I'm probably going to be screwing around with the template a bit over the next little while. I'm still messing with the design to hopefully find something that works the best. This one is pretty basic and kind of dark (don't you think?).

If anyone has suggestions for, well, anything.. throw them out in the comments here. Lighter design?

He doesn't give Joss any direct cursing this time so no main chart updates, but he does throw out some so the Buffy charts got updated already.

Oh nevermind, it does work. It just takes forever to update. Sweet.
So Buffy and Angel specific charts will be on their own pages. These are for some overall bad language tracking, not just stuff directed at Joss. This is handy to see the impact each episode has on Mark, usually in the form of a "what the fuck" moment. 

One chart to rule them all (really me?)

Bah.. sadly it seems the interactive charts and just static interactive charts and they don't update automatically to make life easier. Oh well.


This chart shows us how much Mark has directly cursed out Joss Whedon or other writers for certain events, based on season. While they are memorable there aren't enough to bother breaking it down by episode, but I'm pretty sure Mark Watches followers can figure it out. :)



PS: This is my arbitrary accounting of Mark's blaming Joss for harsh feels. You might count it differently.
