Here's the Buffy version of the chart I posted for Angel the other day. These update as I change the source data but I'll post new ones on Mark Watches maybe once a week.

Buffy Season 5 & Angel Season 2 Final Counts

Well.. here you have it! It came out 94 - 78 in Buffy's favour but really, who didn't see that coming? Still not the highest for a season though. Wonder how Season 6 and Season 3 will fare. :)

Buffy & Angel updated

We're entering the home stretch now.. episode 17 of each show has been posted and just a few more remain.


This is where Buffy and Angel stand when compared for the current seasons.



Angel has closed the gap a lot recently, now only 8 behind Buffy. I'd put my money on Buffy right now but you never know how Mark will react to what's to come.

Buffy & Angel Updated

We're 9 episodes into both Buffy Season 5 and Angel Season 2. Mark has maintained a relatively steady stream of cursing throughout.


Buffy leads 24 to 16 however. Who's going to finish on top?

Buffy / Angel Update

So we are two episodes into each new season now so it is time to start showing some numbers.
I see a steady increase happening.. let's hope it continues. :)

Hehehe.. good review.. most of the cursing came in for the last minute of the episode.. which is always a good thing.

Final chart! Is it just me or does it seem to have been a harsher roller coaster ride compared to Buffy season 4?

So Buffy's season 4 is done. Looking ahead to season 5... I expect a significant increase in the cursing. hehehe

Primeval & Other Stuff

Charts got updated. Yay!! Nothing too spectacular except based on current counts he seems to have had quite the reaction to Episode 21.

So, new idea that was suggested by Nattlinnen.. charting capital word usage (really we can get so crazy with the charts if we let it)

The chart is a work in progress as we are counting it up but it will end up among the rest of the Buffy charts eventually.

Bah.. sadly it seems the interactive charts and just static interactive charts and they don't update automatically to make life easier. Oh well.


This chart shows us how much Mark has directly cursed out Joss Whedon or other writers for certain events, based on season. While they are memorable there aren't enough to bother breaking it down by episode, but I'm pretty sure Mark Watches followers can figure it out. :)



PS: This is my arbitrary accounting of Mark's blaming Joss for harsh feels. You might count it differently.
